Donna Dwyer Pitz

Donna builds teams, cultivates leaders, and solves problems. She is the Director of Business Development and also oversees the marketing efforts of mAccounting. In her current role, Donna leverages the skills, experiences and personalities of the mAccounting team to design plans that are carefully tailored to clients’ needs. Donna is also responsible for managing mAccounting’s marketing initiatives.

Donna started as an advertising agency media buyer, where she worked with a variety of B2B and retail clients. She then moved to the other side of the desk, in media sales, quickly advancing to sales manager and, eventually, to Director of Sales for Emmis Communications’ Indianapolis radio division. In managing internal staff and external partners, Donna found her passion for developing others’ talents.

After Emmis, Donna leveraged the expertise she had developed in sales and management training, revenue forecasting, pricing and inventory management to a new role of consulting with clients in real estate, print services, and radio. As a Certified DiSC Facilitator, Donna incorporated DiSC into her training curriculum.

Donna sees problems before they can cause damage and moves decisively to address issues that require creative thinking and collaborative action. Her passion is bringing out the leader in everyone.

She was named Director of Sales of the Year by American Women in Radio and Television, as well as Top Sales Manager by McGavren Guild, where she was among only 5 chosen from sales managers at over 300 radio stations nationwide.

Donna was a long time, active board member with Training, Inc., and with her in-laws, she was given their Outstanding Volunteer Family Award. She has advised WFYI on various events. Donna is on the board of the Indianapolis chapter of AA-ISP, an organization dedicated to advancing sales teams and organizations. And Donna has channeled her passion for animals and at-risk youth by volunteering with Paws & Think, a non-profit organization focusing on the at-risk community, both human and canine. Donna graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Telecommunications and minors in Marketing and Speech. Donna enjoys cycling with her husband and Pilates. She has two grown children and a German Shepherd.
